Syracuse, NY – Air Canada will launch its new twice-daily direct flights to Toronto today at Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
The direct flights to Lester B. Pearson International Airport will be timed to connect with the airline’s flights to destinations in Canada, Europe and Asia, officials said.
The flights restore Air Canada’s relationship with Syracuse, which was severed in 2002 as travel dropped following the Sept. 11 terror attacks. That further reduced the airline’s low Syracuse bookings.
