Syracuse, NY -- Police have identified the victim of a stabbing Tuesday night as Jamesha Brown, 16, of Syracuse.
Earlier:
Syracuse, NY -- A second stabbing in Syracuse sent a second teenage girl to the hospital Tuesday night.
Police said a 16-year-old Syracuse girl was stabbed around 8:45 p.m. on the 300 block of West Ostrander Avenue in the city’s Brighton neighborhood.
The girl had a stab wound to her back and was taken to Upstate University Hospital with injuries that police said were not life threatening.
The stabbing is under investigation, police said.
