Update at 10:25 a.m.: High winds have severely damaged Evangel Community Church on McDonnell Street in Chittenango.

The church, which is made of bricks, was built about three decades ago.

Several people were in the church. No one was injured.

Lennox Lane is closed because several trees have fallen. A tree also fell in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts on Genesee Street (Route 5) in Chittenango -- and fell onto a red pickup truck.

The Munchkins and special guests from the Oz-Stravaganza were eating breakfast at Delphia's restaurant on Genesee Street when the power went out. Oz officials said the Munchkins are safe.

Some vendor tents at the Oz festival flew into other tents; merchandise got wet and some was destroyed. One vendor tent blew on top of a carnival trailer, and onto power lines.

The Madison County 911 Center has received numerous reports of poles, trees and wires down throughout Chittenango.

No injuries have been reported. There also have been no accidents, a 911 dispatcher said.
