Libraries: The county’s central library and all city branches are closed Saturday, May 29, through Monday, May 31. Suburban branches operate on individual schedules.
Mail: Post offices are closed. Carousel Center Postal Store and its full-service postal window will be open during mall hours.
Parking: Parking at city meters is free.
Shopping malls: Carousel Center and ShoppingTown Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Great Northern Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Trash collection: Will operate a day late in Syracuse for the entire week. Other municipal and private haulers may work on a different schedule.
Centro: Will operate on a holiday schedule. For information, call 442-3400.
Rescue Mission: Thrifty Shopper stores in Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Cicero, East Syracuse, Fairmount, Liverpool, North Syracuse, Auburn, Cortland and Oswego will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donation centers and auto donation center will be closed.
