Camillus, NY -- Following a two-vehicle crash this morning in Camilus, firefighters cut the roof off of a pickup truck so they could take the driver to a hospital, Camilus police said.
Paul C. Doner, 46, of Beef Street, Marcellus, had "very minor" injuries in the 10:30 a.m. crash at Hinsdale Road and Dunning Drive, Camillus Police Chief Thomas Winn said.
A southbound Dodge Stratus was stopped in traffic on Hinsdale Road, trying to make a left turn onto Dunning Drive, when the silver Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by Doner crashed into the back of the Stratus, Winn said.
No tickets were issued, but investigating officers found Doner was at fault for the crash by following too closely and because of driver inattention, Winn said.
