Locke, NY -- Four teen-agers were injured in a one-car crash in Cayuga County Thursday afternoon.
Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould said in a release that four teens in a 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier were traveling on Bird Cemetery Road in Locke when the car swerved to avoid a vehicle entering the road. The driver lost control of the Cavalier, Gould said in a release, and the car struck a pole. Two were ejected.
Gould said the four people in the car, two males and two females, were all their late teens all from the Locke, Groton and Lansing area.
The females were taken to Upstate University Hospital and are listed in stable condition.
The males were taken to Cortland Memorial Hospital where one was reported in stable condition. The other, Gould said, was in serious condition and was being transferred to Upstate.
