Syracuse, NY -- A man with a bullet wound to the shoulder walked into Upstate University Hospital this morning, apparently the victim of a reported shooting between cars on Interstate 690, according to police radio broadcasts.
The shooting was reported before noon by a witness, who called 911 to report the incident. The caller told police that two cars were eastbound in I-690 near Teall Avenue when the shots were fired, according to radio broadcasts.
Shortly afterward, the victim appeared at Upstate University Hospital, according to broadcasts.
Police have not made official comment on the shooting at this time. It is not confirmed that the victim was wounded on I-690.
