Syracuse, NY -- A Syracuse man was arraigned this morning on charges he attempted to kill two women in September.
Syracuse police accused Knowledge B. Lewis, also known as Malik Lewis, 18, of 108 Ford Ave. Apt. 1, of attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, violation of probation and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arrested Friday afternoon at 1300 S. State St.
City Court Judge Karen M. Uplinger set Lewis' bail this morning at $100,000 cash or bond. He is currently in the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Paperwork filed with the court accuses Lewis of firing a handgun four or five times at two women at 200 Chavez Terrace on the afternoon of Sept. 19.
