Syracuse, NY -- Syracuse police are investigating a shooting on Bellevue Avenue that took place Wednesday evening.
Police said a car drove by 331 Bellevue Ave. around 7:40 p.m. when gunfire was exchanged between people on the porch and in the car.
Police found six bullet holes in the residence at 325 Bellevue Ave. Eleven 9mm shell casings were found at 331 Bellevue Ave., in front, on the side and on the porch steps, police said.
Witnesses said the suspects on foot ran south on Hudson Street and the car continued west on Bellevue Avenue.
There was no description given for the car. The suspects on foot were said to be wearing hooded sweatshirts.
No one was reported hurt.
Syracuse police ask that anyone with information on the crime call them at 442-5222.
