Less than three weeks after a Megabus crashed into the Onondaga Lake Parkway railroad bridge, killing four people, a Megabus in western Michigan burst into flames Tuesday along Interstate 94 near Kalamazoo. Only the driver was aboard at the time.
Megabus is a low-cost bus service owned by Coach USA/Coach Canada, a division of Stagecoach Group, of Scotland. Megabus, founded in 2006, provides scheduled inter-city trips to many popular locations throughout the United States and Canada.
The service started with a hub in Chicago, a few hours away from Kalamazoo, and recently expanded to the Northeast, including two routes through Syracuse.
