Three people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries following the 7:30 p.m. crash at East Genesee and Pine streets, police said. The officer in the police car was not hurt.
Police gave these details:
A car turning into the Rite Aid parking lot and broadsided by a second vehicle, which spun around and scraped the side of the police car. The police car suffered minor damage.
The two other drivers and a passenger were taken from the crash scene by ambulance.
