Syracuse, NY - A sewer project around Montgomery Street in downtown Syracuse will cause several street closures today that will last for several weeks.
Montgomery Street, from East Washington to East Jefferson streets, will be closed to traffic at 7 a.m. East Fayette Street, from South State to South Warren streets, will also will be closed. Local traffic will be allowed through as construction allows.
The intersection at Montgomery and East Fayette streets will be closed for one week starting today.
There will be no parking on Montgomery Street. The Murbro parking lots on the east and west side of Montgomery Street, between East Washington and East Fayette streets will remain open. The parking garage at East Fayette and Montgomery streets will remain open. Sidewalks will remain open.
