State police stopped a woman on the Thruway for talking on her cell phone Thursday.
The woman said she was running late for dinner and was calling her husband to let him know.
As the trooper wrote a ticket, he discovered that the vehicle is registered to her husband and that he was wanted on a felony warrant in Florida. The trooper obtained more information about the husband's location, went there and placed him under arrest.
The warrant for the man, Graig P. Arcuri, 51, of Castleton, was issued eight years ago on a first-degree grand larceny charge in Punta Gorda, Fla. Arcuri was being held in Albany County jail without bail pending extradition.
