Update: Police expect to release details of this accident later today.Syracuse, NY -- No one appeared hurt, but four cars were heavily damaged in a crash at the intersection of Clinton and Jefferson streets in Syracuse’s Armory Square neighborhood late Friday.
Police and firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 11 p.m. They found three cars that had been parked on the west of South Clinton Street pushed together and a fourth car, a Jeep, wedged into a stairway at the Jefferson Clinton Commons.
Witnesses said a woman driving a Jeep swerved to avoid another car. Her Jeep then struck the first of the three parked cars, a Saturn, forcing it to strike the second, a Toyota, which then struck the third, a Nissan.
No one appeared injured in the crash.
Police were interviewing the driver and witnesses at the scene.
