Hastings, NY -- A Parish man with five prior driving while intoxicated charges on his record made it six Monday afternoon.
Donald S. Lefler, 49, of 353 White Road, was charged in the town of Hastings with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, both felonies. Lefler was also charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Lefler has had his driver’s license revoked or suspended 11 times and was last convicted of DWI in November, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office said.
Lefler was charged on Hogsback Road after Lefler pulled into a driveway already occupied by a deputy’s vehicle. The deputy, who was investigating an unrelated incident, arrested Lefler.
Lefler was ordered held in Oswego County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail. He is expected back in Hastings Town Court on Sept. 29.
