Phil Davison lost his campaign for treasurer of Stark County, Ohio, but he's rocketed to viral Internet fame thanks to a YouTube video of his freaked-out, screamy speech Wednesday seeking the GOP nomination.
Still, he told Talking Points Memo that he's never heard of YouTube before:
"I went home and had a ham sandwich and went to bed and thought that was the end of it," Davison told TPM. "A friend called, and well, I'm not very good with electronics, is there a YouTube? It was on some kind of electronic server."

• Newsweek considers Florida Rep. Mike Weinstein's July ad to be one of the catchiest, most cringe-worthy campaign ads:
• Anthony Weiner rips apart Republicans on 9/11 health bill in July:
• Also from July, "I'm Basil Marceaux.com, the Republican candidate for governor"
