Cicero, NY - Local law enforcement agencies are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a couple of robberies incidents overnight in Cicero.
Authorities said the suspect first entered the Byrne Dairy on Route 31 shortly after 1:15 a.m. and announced he was there to commit a robbery.
The suspect apparently had no weapon and fled empty-handed when the store employee stood up to him, state police reported.
About an hour later, the same suspect entered the Red Apple store on East Taft Road and announced he was there to commit a robbery, state police reported. Again, the suspect showed no weapon but made off with about $600 in cash and 34 packs of cigarettes, troopers reported.
