Syracuse, NY -- Three Syracuse men are facing misdemeanor charges in a pair of early morning paintball attacks in the city, Syracuse police said.

Nathan Mielnicki, 22, of Cook Avenue; Jeffrey Davis, 20, of 409 Ridgewood Drive; and Timothy Cucciarelli, 19, of 130 Clifton Place, are all charged with two counts each of reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police were called at 1:15 a.m. to the 500 block of Oswego Street, where a
man said he hit by a paintball fired from inside a red vehicle. The vehicle drove off after the shooting.

About 7:45 a.m., police had a second call of a paintball shooting, this time in the 100 block of Beacon Street. In that incident, the same red vehicle was involved, police said. The victim was able to provide police with the license plate number.

The car was found abandoned on Ridgewood Drive and police said they found paintballs inside it.

Police said that their investigation led them to the three suspects.

Police believe there may be more victims and asked anyone who may have been the target of a paintball attack early this morning to contact police at 422-5200 or call 911 to report the incident.
