Michael Gainey, 25, of 326 Fitch St., was pedaling his bicycle north on Midland Avenue about 9:15 p.m. and had just cleared the intersection with Primrose Avenue when a red, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix, traveling south on Midland, turned left onto Primrose, Sgt. Gary Bulinski said.
The front of the car caught Gainey’s rear tire, causing Gainey to fall off the bike, Bulinski said. The car was last seen heading east on Primrose, he said.
Gainey suffered leg pain and was taken to Upstate University Hospital as a precaution, Bulinski said.
