High temperatures could swing from 97 Wednesday to 67 Saturday.
Syracuse, NY -- The forecasters can't agree on the highest temperature for the next few days, but they all say it'll be hot. The National Weather Service expects highs to reach 91 today, 97 Wednesday and 94 Thursday, while Accuweather pegs the highs at 92 today and Wednesday, and 91 Thursday.
In any event, thunderstorms that should move in Friday or Friday night will cool the air by nearly 30 degrees: Saturday's high is expected to just reach the mid-60s.
Meanwhile, forecasters think Hurricane Earl might hit New England later this week; it's uncertain what effect it will have on our weather.
