Tommy E. MerrittFulton, NY -- A week after being arrested in a sex abuse case, a Fulton martial arts teacher was charged with molesting a second teenager, police said.
Tommy E. Merritt, 38, of 15 W. Third St. North, was charged with three counts of felony criminal sex act and one count of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, Fulton Police said.
He is accused of having sexual contact with a victim under the age of 15 at various locations in 2005 and 2006, police said.
Merritt was sent to jail with bail set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
Merritt runs the Fight Science and Precision Tae Kwon Do martial arts schools in Fulton, according to court papers.
This isn't the first victim Merritt has been accused of abusing.
Merritt was charged Aug. 17 with criminal sex act in the second-degree, criminal sexual act in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police said Merritt engaged in oral sexual contact over a three-year period with a child who was 13 when the conduct began.
In addition to the bail set the the recent case, he also faces $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond in this first case.
