Syracuse, NY -- A Syracuse man told police early this morning he was stabbed twice and shot once in the back in lower Onondaga Park, police said.
Syracuse police were called to 1411 Bellevue Avenue at 3:23 a.m., where they spoke with Tyrone Ruffin.
Ruffin told police two men stabbed him twice and shot him once in the back in lower Onondaga Park. However, police said they could not find a crime scene and the victim would not provide them with any further information.
Police do not know Ruffin’s age and are not releasing his address.
The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A hospital spokeswoman said he has since been discharged.
Police are investigating the incident and ask that anyone with information call the Criminal Investigation Division at 442-5222.
