Tommy E. MerrittTommy E. Merritt, of 15 West Third St. North, was arrested Tuesday on charges of criminal sex act in the second-degree, criminal sexual act in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police said Merritt engaged in oral sexual contact over a three-year period with a child who was 13 when the conduct began. “These incidents occurred at various locations in the City of Fulton,” police said in a release.
Merritt was arraigned in Fulton City Court and sent to Oswego County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond.
He’s due back in Fulton court Wednesday morning.
Police said the investigation remains open and have asked anyone with information to contact them at 598-4504.
