Syracuse, NY – Police have identified the man shot during an altercation on the City’s Near West Side Wednesday.
Joseph Santy, 25, of Syracuse, was shot shortly after 5 p.m. near Brothers Fine Foods Inc. at the intersection of Fitch and Dudley streets, police said.
Santy was taken to an area hospital where he was treated for a shot to his lower right leg and released.
Syracuse Police Sgt. Gary Bulinski said the case is still being investigated and that anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 442-5222.
