Bedford, NY -- Lisa Turkki, the Manlius woman accused of stabbing her two nieces while babysitting them in Westchester County was in court today, but said nothing.
Turkki's attorney told the judge that her client is receiving appropriate medical care in jail, the Journal News reported.
Meanwhile, the two girls, Maeve, 7, and Annabel Kelly, 9, may return home from the hospital where they have been since Saturday's stabbing, the paper reported.
No family members accompanied Turkki in court. The parents of the two girls, who attended a concert while Turkki was babysitting the children, remain at their daughters' bedsides at the hospital.
