Syracuse, NY -- A Texas man staying at an airport hotel was accused of entering another guest’s room at the hotel late Monday and fondling the man as he slept.
Richard Weller, 54, of Cleveland, Texas, was charged by Syracuse police with burglary, a felony, and forcible touching, a misdemeanor.
Weller was staying at the Best Western Syracuse Airport Inn Monday night when he entered another room through a door that accidentally was left ajar, police said. Weller fondled the victim before he fled the room when the victim woke, police said.
Weller was found in his own hotel room by investigators.
