Syracuse, NY -- Syracuse police responded to two shootings Friday evening.
At about 8:40, police were called to the 2000 block of East Fayette Street where a victim had a gunshot wound to the leg, said Syracuse police Sgt. Gary Bulinski.
The victim, a minor who police did not identify, was taken to Upstate University Hospital where his injury was determined to be non life threatening, Bulinski said.
About 9:15 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Shonnard Street where they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
The victim, another minor who police did not identify, was taken to Upstate where his wound was also determined to be non life threatening, Bulinski said.
Police ask that anyone with information regarding either shooting call the Criminal Investigation Division at 442-5222.
The shootings remain under investigation and it was unknown, police said, if the two crimes are related.
