Syracuse, NY -- A Syracuse woman has been charged in the stabbing of a man in the 800 block of Lemoyne Avenue on the City’s North Side Wednesday night.
Heidi Armstead, 27, of 322 Cayuga St., was charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, both felonies.
Police said the victim, Mike Delpha, of Syracuse, was apparently fighting with Armstead’s brother about 10:40 p.m., when Armstead stabbed and cut Delpha.
Delpha went to Upstate University Hospital with injuries police said were not life threatening.
Armstead was taken to the county Justice Center.
