When a federal judge put controversial parts of Arizona's immigration law on hold Wednesday pending a review in court, the action unleashed a torrent of comments among users of syracuse.com. Here's what one user, Go Cuse 1, had to say:

For the most part I'm middle of the road politically, I am an active voter and I do research the laws on my own to form an opinion. When I sit back and look at this law when I compare it to NY DMV when I try to get a drivers license, where I need 6 points of ID to prove who I am; birth certificate, passport, social security card etc. Are my rights being violated when I get pulled over and the police officer asks for my license where I had to establish my right to be here legally in order to obtain one? I can call the INS to report illegals anytime I want but it is a civil rights issue if the police do it? Democrats you lost me with this nonsense...
