A roundup of today's stories from western Onondaga County:
The Eagle Observer reports that Main Street Delights, a coffee, candy and lunch shop at 110 Main Street in the red, barn-like historical building, opened in Elbridge on January 2.
Mary and Craig Saunders also own Mac’s Family Restaurant, which is located just down the road.
Saunders’ son-in-law, Peter Dietzman, manages the new store. Customers’ names and order preferences are put into a computer to personalize service, allow for a more friendly atmosphere, and give the shop feedback without bugging patrons.
