Former Foreigner lead singer Lou Gramm performs at Cole Muffler at the State fair in 2003.Syracuse, NY--Concert promoter NCS Events has canceled the final three Wednesday on the Water concerts at Syracuse's Inner Harbor, the event's media sponsor announced Monday.
The announcement doesn't say why NCS Events decided to cancel concerts by Lou Gramm on Wednesday, Dokken on Aug. 4 and The Outlaws on Aug. 11.
Media sponsor for the concerts, 95X Citadel Broadcasting Corp. made the announcement Monday evening.
In a news release 95X Operations Manager Tom Mitchell said the company was disappointed with the NCS decision.
He added, "we appreciate the support of our sponsorship partners, and the attendance by the many thousands of Central New Yorkers who enjoyed the free concerts on the past five Wednesdays at Syracuse's Inner Harbor."
