A Republican Senate candidate from Colorado came under fire for calling some members of the Tea Party movement a bad word over their stance on the location of President Barack Obama's birth. While some of the conversation over the so-called birthers focused on the clash of liberals and conservative beliefs.
Here's what syracuse.com user Pitapita had to say:
Even as a Democrat I do not think Tea Party people are Whack O's. I applaud their ideas and what they stand for. BUT what I can not stand is how the Republicans hiding behind people like Dick Army and his Freedom Works have tried to turn the REAL Tea Party people into their attack dogs. I see Patriots of our Country within the ORIGINAL Tea Party groups. They see something they do not like and they take a stand, but take a stand in a legal way. They voice their concerns about Big Government and Taxes. The REAL Tea Party people do not attack this President and repeatedly use the Child Like name callings that Freedom Works and Sarah Palin have openly endorsed.
