Skaneateles showcases classic and antique boats

In-the-water boat show continues Sunday.

SKANEATELES -- The 32nd annual Antique and Classic Boat Show in Skaneateles offered a lakefront breeze and a bit of a respite from today's heat.

The boat show continues Sunday in Clift Park in the heart of the village on the shore of Skaneateles Lake. The show opens at 8 a.m. with classic and antique boats displayed in the park and at the adjacent public docks. The Skaneateles Historical Society offers guided tours of the village at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Also Sunday, the Sherwood Inn, across the street from Clift Park, dishes up barbecued food and music. Food is served starting at 1 p.m. and music starts at 3 p.m.
