Syracuse, NY - An Ohio woman was sentenced today to 10 years in prison for stabbing her boyfriend after an argument.

Catina Glenn, 37, of Lima, had nothing to say before state Supreme Court Justice John Brunetti imposed the sentence agreed to when Glenn pleaded guilty last month to first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Glenn admitted stabbing Dwayne Martin, 38, in the chest in front of the Stafford Market in the 300 block of Stafford Avenue Nov. 14, 2008.

Authorities said Martin and Glenn had an argument the previous night and Martin had gone to stay with some relatives. When Glenn went to the house where Martin was staying, she was told to leave, but ended up following Martin in her car with the lights off when he went to the store, officials reported.

Glenn got out of the car with a knife, approached Martin and stabbed him in the chest, officials said.
