Parish, NY -- A high-speed chase ended Sunday after a Constantia man hit two marked police cars and crashed twice while topping 100 mph, according to Oswego County Sheriff's deputies.

Anthony W. Burk, 20, of 976 county Route 17, led police on an 8 a.m. chase with his 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada SUV through the towns of Parish and Hastings, deputies said.

During the chase, his SUV struck a marked deputy's car and came to rest in a ditch, then accelerated out of the ditch, narrowly missed another deputy car, struck a state police vehicle twice, hit a pickup in a driveway and ended up on its roof, deputies said.

The trouble started when Burk refused to stop after a deputy saw his vehicle going fast on state Route 69, deputies said. Burk led police on a chase through the village of Parish and into Hastings, topping 100 mph, deputies said.

After Burk's SUV struck the deputy's car, he turned onto U.S. Route 11, where the SUV struck the state police vehicle, a pickup, then the state police vehicle again before flipping off the road, deputies said.

Burk was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation and reckless endangerment, as well as misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, driving with 0.08 or more blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle. He was also charged with traffic violations: speeding and two counts each of failure to stop at a stop sign and reckless driving.

He was sent to the Oswego County jail with bail set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
