Sarah Palin is weighing in on yet another controversial topic. This time, she calls the construction of a mosque and community center near “Ground Zero,” the site of the 9/11 terror attack in New York City, an “unnecessary provocation” on her Twitter account.

Palin took to the social networking site on Sunday to write, “"Peace-seeking Muslims, pls understand, Ground Zero mosque is UNNECESSARY provocation; it stabs hearts. Pls reject it in interest of healing."

Palin also addressed New Yorkers with a post stating, "pls refute the Ground Zero mosque plan if you believe catastrophic pain caused @ Twin Towers site is too raw, too real."

The plan to build a 13-story center that will be used to focus on Islamic, interfaith and secular programming near “Ground Zero” has sparked emotional debate since it was announced. The mosque and community center, if built, would cost around $100 million.

Palin ended her statements on Twitter Sunday evening with a final tweet stating that she would like to add new words to the English language, including "refudiate," "misunderestimate," "wee-wee'd up." She claimed that, "English is a living language. Shakespeare liked to coin new words too. Got to celebrate it!"
