Seneca Falls, NY -- The Onondaga Medical Examiner's office has determined that a 23-year-old Seneca Falls man found dead in his apartment Tuesday died of heat stroke, police said.

Police said their investigation into the death is closed.

This is the fourth person in the Central New York area to die of heat-related causes during the recent hot weather.

Seneca Falls police said they had determined that there was no foul play in the unattended death of Dustin L. Roberts, 23, of 25 Peterman Road, Apt. 5. Police were called to the apartment at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday.

An autopsy performed by the Onondaga Medical Examiner determined Roberts died of heat stroke, police said.

The New York State Police, Seneca County Coroner's Office and the Seneca County District Attorney's Office helped in the investigation.

Earlier this week, Onondaga County's Health Commissioner Dr. Cynthia Morrow said three people, who were elderly or had pre-existing medical conditions, had died during the recent heat wave.
