Syracuse, NY -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Syracuse's South Avenue Thursday night.
Police said a motorcycle and car collided at the intersection of South Avenue and West Colvin Street shortly before 10:30.
The motorcyclist was unconscious at the scene and taken to Community General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police were withholding the identity of the motorcyclist pending notification of his family.
All the occupants of the car, two adults and three children, were taken to Upstate University Hospital. Police were not certain if any were injured or if they were transported as a precaution.
Police are currently at the scene investigating the crash.
