Paul, a 2-year-old octopus and soccer fan that lives in a Berlin aquarium, has correctly predicted the outcome of all six German matches in the World Cup. Paul's latest coup: accurately predicting that Spain would defeat Germany in Wednesday night's match. Since then, he's received death threats from enraged fans.

Paul works by choosing a mussel from one of two boxes in his tank decorated with the teams' national flags.
