• Corby J. Rowe, 21, of 141 W. Schuyler St., Apt. 1, Oswego

• Jeremy G. Rowe. 20, of 213 W. Seventh St., Oswego

Corby Rowe also was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, and Paris and Jeremy Rowe also were charged with second-degree harassment, a violation, police said.

Police were called shortly before 3 a.m. to an East Sixth Street residence, where they learned that four men had gotten into a fight with an adult male outside the victim's home.

When the victim attempted to escape by going inside his home, the assailants broke the door and continue assaulting him, police said.

Investigators took the defendants into custody without incident about 4:30 a.m. at the apartment shared by Kingsley and Paris, police said.

They were arraigned in Oswego City Court and ordered held on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond pending a court appearance Tuesday. All four remained in custody as of 2:30 p.m.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. He was acquainted with his assailants but police aren't sure what started the fight and that remains under investigation, Capt. Tory DeCaire. He declined to identify the victim, citing department policy.
