Syracuse, NY -- A Syracuse man was arrested Tuesday night after he threw a piece of pizza at the mother of his child, police said.
Terry Walker, 32, of Syracuse was charged with harassment in relation to the thrown piece of pizza. He also faces charges of marijuana possession and criminal contempt. The victim, Keturah Hicks, 27, has an order of protection against him.
Here is what happened, according to police:
Hicks returned to her Forest Avenue home at about 11 p.m. Tuesday when Walker came inside and started eating pizza. The two of them were talking when Walker became upset and threw a piece of pizza at Hicks’ left shoulder. Walker left the home after the slice was thrown.
Hicks walked into her bedroom and found food all over her bed sheets. The bed sheets and the clothes in the dresser were wet and smelled of ammonia.
At about 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Hicks called the police because Walker was outside of her house. The police took Walker into custody and found a bag with a greenish brown plant like material in his front right jacket pocket. Police tested the substance and it proved to be marijuana.
