Syracuse, NY – Friday is the day and the Inner Harbor is the place for the city of Syracuse’s annual Independence Day festivities.
The Department of Parks, Recreation &Youth Program’s All-Star Band will perform at 6 p.m., opening for the Stan Colella Orchestra directed by Len Colella, which will take the stage from 8 to 9:30 p.m. The fireworks will follow.
An expanded Family Fun Zone also will be available with more inflatable toys, face painting, balloon sculpture, miniature golf and other activities. Admission is free. Refreshments will be available for purchase; a small fee may be charged for some Family Fun activities.
Boaters are welcome but must be moored in the harbor area by 8:30 p.m. and once there must stay until 10:30 p.m.
